Ringly is an alarm app for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app and website handle, how it is used, and the limits of the current product.

Information Ringly Handles

• Alarm settings, wake profiles, challenge choices, sounds, wallpapers, app appearance, language, widgets, and other app preferences you configure.
• Permission and readiness states needed to explain whether AlarmKit access, optional notifications, Apple Health, location/weather, microphone, camera, motion, photos, Siri/App Intents, Watch, widgets, or other optional system access is available.
• Apple Health sleep summaries after you grant Health permission, used for sleep and morning insight features.
• Approximate current location after you grant location permission, used to request local weather from Apple WeatherKit and cache the rendered forecast locally for a short time.
• On-device Sleep Lab microphone analysis, camera mission processing, and model-assisted challenge signals when you choose features that require those sensors.
• Local alarm snapshots and preferences shared with Ringly widgets, App Intents/Siri, and Apple Watch support on your devices.
• Premium entitlement state, such as whether the App Store reports Monthly, Yearly, Lifetime, or no active Ringly purchase.
• First-party product analytics events about core app flows, such as app opens, onboarding completion, coarse alarm readiness, mission category, paywall views, purchase flow results, and restore completion.
• Feedback board suggestions and votes you choose to submit on the website, including the suggestion text, category, moderation status, and vote totals.
• Local diagnostics you choose to share with support, plus any email address and message content you send to us.
• Basic website request data handled by our hosting provider to deliver and secure this website.

Local Alarm Data

Ringly is designed to keep alarm setup and wake context on your device and in Apple-managed sync or backup services where applicable. Alarm names, schedules, challenge choices, wallpapers, world clocks, progress, and app preferences are stored locally in app storage and shared app containers used by Ringly widgets and system integrations. Some app data may sync through Apple iCloud key-value services when iCloud is available, and local app data may be included in Apple-managed device backups depending on your iOS settings. Ringly does not operate a separate account backend for this alarm data.

Permissions

Ringly asks for system permissions only when they support app features. Alarm access supports alarm delivery. Notifications are optional and may support local reminders or fallback behavior where available. Apple Health can support sleep summaries, location can support Today weather through Apple WeatherKit, microphone can support Sleep Lab analysis, Siri/App Intents can support shortcuts, and Watch connectivity can support paired-watch alarm context. Camera, motion, and photos access are used only for features that need them, such as scan/photo missions or custom wallpapers. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.

Health, Weather, Watch, Siri, And On-Device Processing

Ringly may read Apple Health sleep analysis after you grant permission, request location for local WeatherKit conditions, sync local alarm snapshots to Apple Watch, and expose local alarm actions through App Intents or Siri. Sleep Lab microphone analysis, camera missions, and model-assisted challenge processing are designed to run on device. Ringly analytics do not receive raw health data, precise location, audio, camera frames, barcode or QR contents, or model outputs.

Premium Purchases

Ringly Premium purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Ringly receives purchase and entitlement status from StoreKit so the app can unlock Premium features or restore purchases. Ringly does not receive your full payment card number.

Analytics And Tracking

Ringly uses first-party product analytics at ringlyalarm.com to understand whether core flows are working, such as onboarding, alarm creation, coarse alarm readiness, mission category, paywall views, purchase results, and restore results. These analytics are used to improve the app and maintain release quality.

Ringly analytics do not include exact alarm times, alarm names, free-text labels, location, health or sleep raw data, camera images, audio, barcode or QR contents, advertising identifiers, device fingerprints, or personal account identity. Ringly does not include third-party advertising, attribution, analytics, crash-reporting, or engagement SDKs, and does not sell personal information.

Ringly limits analytics requests by schema, size, replay checks, and rate buckets. Abuse controls use hashed request buckets and short-lived replay keys; they are not used to build advertising profiles or track you across apps and websites.

Public Feedback Board

Feedback suggestions submitted through the website enter review before they appear publicly. Votes are constrained per hashed request bucket to reduce duplicate or automated voting. Ringly may classify requests as first-party browser, native-app, attestation-candidate, or untrusted so suspicious activity can be moderated without adding a broad tracking SDK.

If a feedback item needs removal, Ringly marks it deleted and hides it from public board responses. Limited abuse-prevention records, such as hashed rate-limit buckets and replay keys, may be retained only as long as needed to protect the service and enforce retention windows.

Sharing

Ringly shares information only as needed to operate the app, process App Store purchases through Apple, run this website through its hosting provider, respond to support requests, comply with law, or protect the app and its users. We do not share alarm data with advertising networks.

Retention And Controls

You can delete alarms and app preferences inside Ringly, delete the app from your device, or change system permissions in iOS Settings. App Store purchase records are managed by Apple. If you contact support, we keep the support conversation only as long as needed to answer and maintain a reasonable support record.

Children

Ringly is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to us through support, contact us and we will review the request.
